The deceased was until her death, Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary Ministry of Justice, Benue State.
Governor Ortom in a funeral oration, noted that God gives and takes life, even as he described the deceased as a great woman who impacted on many while she lived, saying she was resourceful and committed in her duties and was a mother to all as a royal mother.
The Governor while praying for the peaceful repose of her soul expressed delight that she gave her life to Christ and urged the living to accept and serve God as their personal Lord and Saviour so that in the end, they would enjoy eternity in Heaven.
Tor Tiv V, Professor James Ayatse, represented by Tor Jemgbagh, Chief Afatyo Ajoko, Head of Service, Mrs. Veronica Onyeke, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Michael Gusa in separate funeral orations said the death was a great loss to the state and the Judiciary in particular.
Mrs. Onyeke who spoke on behalf of Permanent Secretaries and the entire civil servants in the state said their departed colleague ran a good race and came to an end successfully, even as she prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul.
Chief Mourner and husband of the deceased, Tor Lobi, Chief Moses Anagende, thanked Governor Ortom, the Tor Tiv, colleagues and subjects for their support through the sickness and death of his wife and prayed God to grant her soul eternal rest.
Queen of the Rosary Old Girls Association, QROGA and representatives of the International Federation of Women Lawyers, FIDA, also gave funeral orations at the burial.
